Seyðisfjörður has been called “a pearl in a closed shell” and is a quaint town in the East of Iceland, and some of its surrounding mountains are over 1000 meters high. The camping site in Seyðisfjörður is located at the center of the village and the site is surrounded by trees, giving shelter from winds. Seyðisfjörður offers various services to tourists, ranging from kayak rental to fine dining. The town is also famous for its vibrant culture life and galleries, museums and quirky souvenir shops. At the camping site you will find everything you need such as showers, WC, laundry-room, kitchen and more. There are a number of marked hiking paths, tracking through the wonders of the fjord.
